Parodi following a explosion aboard that vessel. 26 February 1965 she assisted the German MV Black Swan fighting a fire aboard at Hampton Roads. June 6 1965 Mohican was designated OSC following a collision between Norwegian MV Blue Master and USS Hartley off Cape Henry, VA. 14 April 1966 she escorted the Israeli MV Avadet following a fire off Norfolk VA. Medevaced a crewman from MV Texaco Mississippi off Hampton Roads on 7 July 1969.29 November 1969 towed disabled PC Carefree from Ship Shoal Inlet to Portsmouth, VA. 4 July 1970 assisted fighting fire in a oil storage tank at Sewell's Point, VA Decommissioned 26 June 1986
