Stationed at Baltimore MD until 1981 then transferred to Portsmouth VA. She was used for light icebreaking, search and rescue and law enforcement,

11-12 June1965 she helped fighting fire aboard the MV Ciudad de Nieva near Baltimore. 13 February 1968 helped fighting fire on Pier 5 Baltimore. 4 June 1969 helped fighting fire on MV Provence Town at Baltimore. May and June of 1979 she was used to haul garbage during the New York City strike
Decommissioned 1 July 1986
